This morning I am joining Lisa-Jo and a group of fabulous writers in writing for five minutes without editing or over thinking. Our Five Minute Friday writing prompt this week is CHANGE.
Change
In my profession as a daycare provider I see change in abundance. I see first steps, first words, and babies which return years later to say hello who miraculously have turned into pre-teens. A bit bittersweet as I watch each child grow, growing away from me, yet exciting to see each new phase. Some changes are not so easy.
Some changes are incredibly hard. Hard changes that stretch one out of the comfort zone. A day, such as June 4th, which changes everything for so many in big ways. I cry and wish for the old normal as this normal is just too hard to accept.
Yet, I have a heavenly Father who will bring me through these troubled waters. Though these changes are hard, He will use this to mold me. To grow me.
Embracing the hard changes so that I may be cleansed, changed and used by Him.

Thanks for sharing and especially the reminder that God Himself has purposes for us in our pain. Coming over from 5MF Gypsy Mama.
